Default F1 gettin a facelift

My new bike! She's a little rough. Rotors and pads were pretty much metal on metal. No exhaust pipe. Fairings zip tied on. Mechanically speaking she runs ok. Maybe due for a tuneup.

I just spent 800 to order all new custom fairings. They should enter production today, and hopefully I'll have them next week.

HONDA CBR 600 F1 1987-90, CBR600, fairings, bodywork, fairing, upper, lower, mid, seat side, race, street, fender, tail, undertail, tank

Nice guys to talk to and knocked a few bucks off for me.

Next step is paint! Gun, primer, and single stage urethane is on order. 2 previous car painting experiences. This should be a bit easier though because of all the time I'm saving on prep.

This is the color I'm going with

I'll keep you guys updated with the progress!

Yea, shes in tough shape, but I've seen worse (in fact, my bike is included in that list now). Get that tank dent fixed first. Those airtech fairings seem nice, but keep in mind there is no mounting points for them, so you have to drill/fabricate holes and brackets for everything to hook up.

I'm soon to be ordering a full set of fairings from this same company and would love to know how fitting them went for you.
