Thumbs up ELETRICAL issue

Sup guys, my 88 cbr running lights won't stay on. the blinker works on it fine on both sides, but the running lights won't stay on at night. (I can get ONE side to stay on sometimes* but since I changed the bulb on the oppisite side the light doesn't want to work anymore) I bought brand new bulbs & the same problem keeps persisting, could this be a fuse, shortage or am I overthinking a simple issue.

check for corrosion on the electrical connections for the lights, and while you have them apart I would check the voltage on the power wire for the running lights and see if you're losing voltage at the plug when the lights arent working. I don't know what color the wire is but it is in the wiring diagram in the service manual.

If you are losing voltage at the connector it may be a wire or harness problem. I'd have to take a look at the diagram to tell you more, but don't have my manual with me right now...

Since they are stock you are probably using the three port plugs correct? If not make sure that wires arent grounding out on each other on the connections. There should be three wires two for signal and one for power not sure what the colors are but something to look at
