okay, it starts when you manually add gas. fuel pump is working.

now, are the carbs actually delivering fuel? pump may work but is it pumping fuel to carbs? are the carbs getting fuel in the float bowl? are there any foreign obstructions in the carbs' fuel circuit, ie. clogged jets?

pump should always be pumping if bike is running. does it pump a lot or a little fuel? you could always bypass the pump as a test to see if carbs will take fuel directly from tank.

no cylinder compression? on a rebuilt motor? what was rebuilt then? it's not a complete waste. think of it as a long term project.

probably left the rings out so the pistons would slide in easier..... Just tear er apart and find out the problem.
