RE: choking carb
What exactley did you do for a good cleaning?
1. Remove the bowls, pull the jets out spray with cleaner and compressed air, remove floats needles and seats, spray up fuel inlet to clear any debris?
2. Pull off diaphram covers to make sure no rips in diaphram, pull out diaphrams and needle jet, spray carbs good with cleaner and blow out with compressed air?
You didn't adjust any screws did you ie. The pilot screw needs to be set at 2.25 turns out. and hopefully you didnt touch the sync screws between each of the carbs, if you did that or took the carb assembly apart, your definetly going to need a carb sync done.
To me it sounds like you need a carb sync.
