my bike started acting up on me a month a go. it ran all day and all of a sudden it wouldnt start. i let it sit for 2 days and it started up and like 3 days after that it did the same thing. then it ran great up untill this afternoon!!!! i went down in the basement to fire her up and go for a COLD ride and it wont ****in start again! anyone have this happen to them? im thinking its the cdi but not sure. last time i pulled stuff apart when this happened i noticed it is gettin fuel but not spark

 

well its running again i just sprayed down the wired by the fusepanel and coming off of the cdi with wd40 and it fired right up lol

 

have you checked the fuse thats beside the cdi box? i think theres a starter relay there also but not certain if thats what it is but i unplugged thegray plug and the lights stay on but the starter wouldnt work at all i wonder if its your fuse or the relay? not sure about the light stuation though cuz mine stayon. i gotta figure out how to stop my gas tank from rattling at 5k rpms also its so ****ing annoying!!!

 

its raining out now and i went to try my bike and once again it wont run i sprayed the wires and it still wont run so im back at square 1 lol. the bike isnt outside in the rain its in my basement i thought it had to do with moisture but now im thinkin it the cdi again and i need to fool with the carbs cuz when i trash on it it blows black smoke and people swear they see gas come out the exhaust lol so i gotta figure out how to clean the carbs and seat the floats or whatever to stop this problem
