that's awesome! I may take you up on that. I think I changed my mind again. I photoshopped another look. super basic old school racing kinda style w/ just stripes on top. thin-fat-thin grey and white on black. I really like this cuz I'm more of a classic bike kind of guy. love the oldies! would only need 3 pairs of decals. and the stripes are super easy this way, cuz nothing has to line up perfect on the bike. anyone else like this?

rims are actually white, now. but I might paint em black or strip em. then white rim tape would look nice.

Ah I was going by the black rims in the 2nd pic. The look you have in the 2nd pic is pretty good but I felt it needed a lil more white. Hence the rim tape suggestion. All white rims would be too much imo

I just didn't bother to change them in PShop. you may be right, about too much white. I'll prob just take em off and paint em. I might try and do it with the tires on. deflate them, mask off, spray, reinflate. never tried that before.

Default CBR painting done!

I finished painting the CBR last week, been busy riding.

one of the lower fairings was busted in half and it had a ton of broken and missing tabs. the wheels look way better and I'm really happy with the way the tank came out. I didn't polish the clearcoat because it layed down so nice and it's my bike and I don't care enough. but for anyone else it would've been done anyways. but it looks awesome, you can't see any orange peel. and it doesn't rattle anymore when I go fast.

there's lots of pics on my website- before, during and after. here's a link: https://sites.google.com/site/dimale...s/1989-cbr600f
