bike chatters after hard acceleration

RE: bike chatters after hard acceleration
The cushion drive is the rubber blocks between the wheel hub and the drive hub. You have to remove the rear wheel to inspect the blocks. Before you go through the trouble how many lines are showing behind the axel on the chain adjusters?
Next question you replaced the sprockets...stock sizes? Did you replace the chain at the same time? Did the replacement chain have 110 links?

i went down 1 in the front and up 2 in the rear it came with a 520 coversion chain kit and they were brand new in the package so they cant be worn. i remember the rubber blocks, when i changed my rear tire my girlfriend decided to pick up the rim and clean one day and lost 1 set of the blocks. so one set is brand new, the others are torn at the strand that hooks the 2 of them together. i figured it wouldnt make a difference but now im wondering lol

You didnt answer the question about the adjustment marks or the length of the chain. At -1 on the front the chain has to turn the corner faster at the front than stock. I did that to mine but went back to stock after chains seemed to wear out faster than before. Do you have the wear mark sticker on the swingarm?Do you have the same number of indicator lines showing on both sides behind the axel? Take some pictures of your chain and both ends of the axel so we can see.

i have 9 threads showing on the left side and 10 showing on the right side. the chain came with the sprocket set so it must be the right one, also it did it before i replaced the sprockets and chain also.... ohwell its really nota big deal, it only does it when i bring it through the powerband and let of quick which i dont really do that often

Ha! When your gf lost the blocks, did she also lose the collar that fits between the sprocket carrier bearing and the axle? 42625-KT8-000? See item 9 http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/...oup/REAR_WHEEL Its a thin sleeve, so you mightn't notice that it was missing when you reassembled the carrier onto the wheel.

i probably am missing that. to be honest with that graph i cant really make out what it is but i dont remember any sleeve on it even when i took the rim off the bike i didnt notice a sleeve, the guy who had it before me was a real dipstick lol so it wouldnt surprise me if he mickey moused it together somehow. im waiting for a shipment in from ebay i got a great deal on carbs, front and rear tires and rims and some other odds and ends so ill see if i get anything with those rims and compare

i think i remember that part now. it was loose and fell but i found it and put it back on when the rim went back on the bike, i remember it didnt really fit in all the way it just kind of rested in place??? is it not supposed to do that? it seemed to fit perfectly when i slid the wheel on
