avon tires
So im broke from putting money into the "new" bike and the budgets tight.I just bought some avon roadrider am26 for the cane on bike bandit has anyone herd much about these the reviewsI read seemed good but first hand knowlege is better. The old tires are dry cracked and bald on the back soI figure anythings safer then old tires.
I was running a Duro HF918 I think on my rear. its a clone of the Dunlop GT501 I think, inexpensive at like $60 new, in a 140/70/17 rear, bout the same price for a front. I liked those. cant say anything about Avon's tires, but I've heard some decent stuff.
I'm running Avon Azaro ST's on mine, mostly due to their engineering team actually answering the phone when I called. I have been through a sportbike class, and done a little foot peg dragging, but mostly cruise. And these are smooth as silk and quiet. I've never had them slip on me, but have not pushed them very hard either. They ride great, look great, and are wearing great! I've got about 4000 miles on them and they look good for another 4000.
So not sure of the exact model you are using, but they recommended these for my style of riding. I get caught in the rain now and then and these are super good in the wet.
