Smile 89 CBR 600F Fairings from Airtech

Has anybody out there used Airtech-Streamlining fairing kits for the 87-90 CBR F1?

I need the complete kit and would like to hear about some experiences that you guys had with them especially around fitting them on the bike and whatever fabrication you needed to do.

Thanks guys!

(Pics would be awesome too)

fitment should not be a concern, seeing as Airtech has been around a long time, and has been builing quality products.

you'll need to make tabs for the headlight, and inner fairing covers on the upper, as well as drill the bolt holes, but these arent big deals considering the overall grade of product.

Thats awesome information - thanks Bobthebiker...

Does anybody know if there is any differences in the fuel tank between the CBR600F and CBR600F2?

I can get a 91 fairing Kit for a CBR600F2, but need to know if the tank cover will fit or not.

Thanks!

the F and F2 dont have tank covers. they're a solid tank, and not at all interchangeable.

Hey guys... I've started down the road of repainting my tank. (Pics soon)

I took the fuel petcock off the tank and its seized tight. (Can't turn it to reserve or off)

Any advice on how to loosen it up?

Thanks

looks like you got a fox shock on it. Or some kind of aftermarket rear shock, looks good.

Its certainly a work in progress. It came with all the plastics, but they are beat up pretty good. The guy who had it before me spray bombed it white and blue. Didn't look too bad from a distance but up close its pretty rough.

Can anybody suggest a good automotive paint brand to use? I want to go with a dark grey/charcoal color.
