I've seen worse, but I've seen better. It will take a bit of work it looks like. Missing the clam shells... you can ride it as is, but it would look better either fully faired or fightered. I am always weary when it comes to replaced engines - why did the old one fail? did the guy neglect it or rag on it? whos to say it has only 5k? It all depends what it is worth to you and if you have the time/money to put into it.

 

Being that old i figured a replaced engine was not to abnormal?

 

Depends. Mine still (presumably) has the original engine. These engines go forever if they are maintained.
