87 hurricane600 f1 and 1990 1000/conversions
i have an 87 hurricane 600f1 it was a street fighter no lights cluster just a seat an a tank the bike runs good and i currently have just bought a 1990 1000 cbr and i dont have a title for it i was going to try to use some parts of it for my 600 f1 and they do not fit up any ideas of what i can do the 1000 cbr is a complete bike except the front forks was wondering about being able to use the swing arm or the engine and trans and the plastics if i can get them to fit. or maybe even see about a way to get a title for the 1000 cbr i live in kentucky and if you have any ideas i'm willing to listen any advice thanks for looking i'm excited to hear some idea and some help
None of the 600 parts will fit the 1000F and vice versa.
Suggest you try to get a title for the 1000F before doing any work or spending any money on it.

how do i go about getting a title? i went to the court house in kentucky and they told me i'd have to make the previous owner get a title and get it transfered into my name but the problem is he does not have a title and i can't get ahold of him. is there any way i can go about doing this or am i stuck with just parting it out?
also i have a weird engine noise it sounds kinda like a knock but at the same time it does not maybe a timing chain?? also when i'm riding the 600f i'll get to about 50-55 and the bike will kinda spit and sputter and then cut out with no engine power what so ever it does not likem to go over 50 any ideas...thanks

yeah im cutting my losses on the cbr 1000f but it's ok i traded a pocket rocket for it and sold the plastics. and why is it that they tend to cut out with no body?? is it that there is to much air being forced down the carbs? and how will drilling holes in the frame??....thank you to guys for all the help i really appreciate it the 87 hurricane is my first bike and im addicted... i dont know all the mechanics on a bike but i am an automobile mechanic so i can understand most lingo
