Helllo.

This is my first motorcycle. It's an 87.
It has 2 brand new side fairings. But they will never be installed >
It wasn't as good of a deal as i've seen, but it wasn't to bad and had a clear title.
Its sat for a year and I got it 'running' for about 15 seconds(after cleaning the carbs and draining the tank). It backfires out of the far right carb. I'm gonna clean the carbs again. I know nothing about them though.





Not sure what I need to do to fix this...

 

I can't edit mine either on the mobile site or the regular...
Looks like somebody got the spacer in the wrong spot or lost it. (The one that keeps the bracket away from the rotor.)

 

 

Still undecided about the seat... I bought an 03 R1 seat that I might put on./cut the subframe. I'm out of argon, so.... I have no motivation

I tried to buy the led integrated light from custom dynamics. Didn't happen. I feel the need to say how much I dislike there website. It sucks!!!!! I couldn't get my paypal or debit card payment to go through because of mismatched zip codes. I tried everything. So annoying. But yeah ... Still have same rear brake light/ blinker.. Won't ever buy one from their 1990 styled site.
I found a tutorial to make one on a Kawasaki forum so I may give that a try.

It's fallen on me twice while pushing it backwards. I guess 130 pounds is no match for this 450lb beast.

The front right caliper locks up over time and I have to bleed the pressure every morning. Not sure what to do.

 

These things make some mean looking street fighters.
I didn't used to be a fan but when I started the body conversion on my 89 I thought pretty hard about making it a fighter.
Looks good though.
As far as the brakes, it could be a hose with an inner liner collapsing and acting like a check valve or a sloppy piston getting stuck sometimes. They can be rebuilt without too much hassle if you can find a kit.
You have any other pictures of it? And what did you do for a speedo?
