Hey guys Just joined the site and it's great so far. Had a question new to these hurricanes. I have a 87 and an 89, the 89 engine only has 2700 kms on it but has some small cracks in the block. I want to see if I can use the block from my 87 and all the internals from the 89 with the low kms. I know that I should plain the matting surfaces but just need to know if everything is the same. Any info would be a help! Thanx

 

yup, only difference posssible is the down-tuned california model. good luck

 

Don't know about engine internals, but my 1987 Hurricane has a 1989 engine in it.

 

Isnt the cylinder head different ( maybe just european models? )
