im not sure if anyone has tried fairings as new as 2007 but my conversion was 2004 1000rr fairings. they fit easily enough. i personally wouldnt try fairings so new because it seems the newer the bike the more pieces there are to the plastics. which might make it more difficult. but if 2007 is your favorite stylings then do it because its gonna be a custom job no matter what.

 

heres a few pics of how mine turned out. gonna paint it red when i get a new subframe to weld up and a tail. oh and still need an oem headlight.

im debating on doing 2003-2004 or 2007+

that subframe part will probably be the most complicatedd
for me im really short so when i raise the seat height i mightttt not be able to touch the ground.. LOL....
right now i can go flat foot
5'4" (w/stubby legs)
but the suspension on my forks is leaking i believe
still so much todo

just did a chain swap yesterday
old chain was missing one of the (thingys?)
thankfully it came with a brand new chain so all i had todo was swap it

 

thanks. yeah at the time i didnt have 125 for used oem headlight. the ones on there now are $20 superbrites from walmart. they do a good job.

im 5'5 so changing the subframe has me worried about footing too. s i have been getting used to using only one foot at stops. figured it would help it the long run.

 

found a complete set of 2003 2004 cbr1000rr fairings for 200 bucks

might just go with those... haha
