Post 600f1 to rr fairing conversion

Finally bought my bike!
andd like the tittle says im going to convert it to the rr fairings

ill post some pics up of the bike later

but before i can start the looks i gotta do the mechanics firstt
needs a little tune up and a new cover part on the engine
cant remeber which one was bad
looks like someone dropped it and fixed it with that liquid welding stuff...
(forgot the name...)
anyway yeh it was a ishhy fix but it runs

another issue is its back on reg by 4 years?
2006......

anyone know how much that gunna cost?

not sure what state your in, but here in california you can input the vin number on the dmv web page and get a pretty good estimate in costs. when i got my bike it was 6 months past registration and the websites estimate was correct within $5. good luck on the conversion. was able to get '04 1000rr fairings on my f1 within 8 hours.

Wow that sucks. In Michigan we just a basic reg fee. The car can sit for 4 years and it'll still be $15 like my 81 Cutlass

friends got the camera at his place

and dudee i wish i lived in michigan....

oh forgot to mention for my registration only being 6 months past due it cost me $175. i was told it is because the dmv raised all its fees recently.

ok well i ran the stuff on some cartagz.com
total came out to be $273.80
meh....
is cartagz more expensive than the dmv?
anyone ever use them?

$390 for the bike
$280 for reg

$700 in.... -__-

by now i hope youve all figured out im a cheap ***... haha

cartagz is the same prices as the dmv since they are affiliated with them.

Same here on being a cheap ***. Including the price of the bike and registration im trying not to hit the $1000 mark. but with the new tires coming soon, i will be over by $100. oh well.

dam yeh its gunna get expensive.... haha

Ill bring it into the dmv tomorrow for an estimate
let my friend borrow some cash and he STILL hasnt paid me back...

as for the mechanical fixing
needs a bit of a tune up

and for the woahhhh ther part...
JB WELD
thts what that stuff is
couldnt remeber the name for like a week now

anyway someone put jb weld alover this part of the engine casing
was proabbly leaking oil when someone took the gasket off so they just put jb weld alover it -____-

now someone name this part so i can order a new one!

(not my bike btw)

ill get those pictures soon i promise! LOL....
