Default 2004 Honda Cbr1000rr conversion

so i found some fairings yesterday on craigslist. $60 for everything but the tail. So i bought them so i could update the fairings on my 87 cbr600. took about 8 hours but everything is on. took it for a drive to check vibration and if the wind makes anything flap. good so far. i have few things to fix and then ill post pics. looks funny with the old tail fairings on. but the front looks amazing. was not too hard to do either.

Looks good Darryle, when you get the rear done it will compliment the front a lot more.

i agree. the tail will make a huge difference. gotta save up for the headlight though. brand new is $325. used on ebay is $125. either way still expensive for me right now.

yeah that looks so sicc.... i dont know why people are scared of fairing swaps, bikes are all similar shapes, with some drilling and some creative bracket making, you can mount any fairings really. good project on a budget, i love it, good job bro

thanks 95F3Fighter. Wasnt too hard. just takes time. im happy with the results. being only 23 i am used to seeing all the new style fairings so i just couldnt really stand how the stock fairings looked. so i had to at least try a swap.
