1988 Hurricane 600 Build
New bearings have been ordered, I just had the sprocket on for the purpose of pictures, I still need to put new loctite on the threads just waiting for the bearing to come in.
looking good. I'm starting a similar build though I doubt mine will turn out as nice as yours has so far. 87 full bike (almost running, ill let you know tomorrow) and an 88 parts bike which i still have to pick up.
Does that ever sound similar, and I'm sure yours will turn out just as good if not better than mine, I still have quite a ways to go before I even attempt to fire mine up. Putting the engine together would be first on the list haha
My heads are finally in! Apart from the valve seals i had to replace all my intake valves but luckily the intakes on my second head were perfect so i could swap them over and save some money. Now i can start putting the engine back together soon. Made some more working space in my room by moving my toolbox to the shop while i was waiting for the heads aswell so that should make things alittle easier now!

Whats left of my second head

And how everything sits now
