Ah, multiple projects. The bane of a busy mind. I had to make myself put all the parts of that old CB77 I bought up on the shelf until I finished the CBR. Getting the CBR done (are they ever really done?) seemed to scratch some of that itch that had me wavering back and forth when both bikes were sitting in front of me. Now I am waiting for the CB77 rebuild muse to appear. Hasn't quite reached a point of urgency yet. I suspect that when I get some more free time from business (crazy busy right now) and the sun comes out, it will hit. I've been distracted with high visibility experiments lately. Just installed a ring of LED strips around my helmet, that will run off the bike's battery.

Looks like you're on a good path to completion. Of course you will be required to post a video of the inaugural ride. We need one with somebody better looking than me...not that tall an order, really.

Oh boy! I could talk forever about all the bikes I have waiting. The Norton is begging me, because I have almost all the parts and it is such a cool bike.

Then there are the 3 additional CBR's...the Raptor that needs the clutch worked on. The gearbox on my Side x Side. Air pump for the suspension on the trike. Exhaust for the Kawi Prairie...on and on. So many projects.

Not sure I will look much better on the bike...I'm an old man.

This is me on my 919.

Yeah, you don't look that old to me either. Here's an obnoxious biker selfie from that recent photo session with the CBR.

That is an AWESOME picture. The CF really pops in that black and white.
The avatar on my profile is John Candy in "Planes Trains and Automobiles." That's one of my favorite movies.
I'm a spry 48.

Ha! You guys are too nice.

I will be 63 in August...that picture was last summer.

But you're only as old as you feel. Getting on a bike and riding makes me feel 20 again

Not far behind you, I'll be 59 on Friday. And I agree, I feel like I'm 23 again and riding my little TS185 cafe racer. At least until I park it and hobble back into the house...

I hate hobbling...my legs are pretty good tho. Only gave me problems when the back was out, and I couldn't ride then anyway.

Most of the time I was able to ride without discomfort...except that I have arthritis in my left wrist...bar position is really important to keep that at bay. I put higher bars on the 919 and bars and risers on the Suzuki GS. The trike has higher bars too. The CBR's will be hard for me to ride very long...well at least I think that will be the case...don't know yet. I will ride them tho

Just had a "Duoh!" moment. Looking at my before and after pics, the new clipons are about an inch lower and the new seat is more like an inch and a half lower, maybe more. No wonder I wrecked my knee trying to find the pegs.

Think I will order these:

Those are really nice. The thing is, you still need to get to the shifter and brake pedal...maybe you need the fully adjustable sets...they are spendy tho. I looked at them because you can get them anodized gold which would look really nice on my bike
