1987 Hurricane to 2003 CBR600RR Conversion
Okay, it seems you want your paint to reduce the "bulk" that is sort of inherent in the Hurricane body design. To some it looks old...others like it. The paint scheme on that original bike you posted it quite nice in my opinion. It is custom paint. Not offered by Honda on the F1.
The fairings on your bike look to be in good shape. I would suggest you look for a right fairing and come up with a paint scheme you like. This would be a less expensive and labor intensive option compared to a conversion and would give you a chance to decide whether you like the old style painted to your liking or not.
That is an F2 with aftermarket decals. These are available in different colors and can be adapted from later years.
That is a 1990 CBR. Same body as the Hurricane but they dropped the name. That is a factory original paint scheme. It seemed that Honda was trying to reduce the "bulk" because the pattern makes the bike look more modern and less bulky. The one thing about the original Hurricane body is it does look nice when cleaned up and painted original.

Looks good...I think you meant drive sprocket.
I decided to play around with the paint technique to do the Playboy scheme on the CBR.
I was thinking about the gold accents and decided that Scotch Body Wrap film would be a good way to do this so I tested it out on the front fender. I think it looks pretty good.
The pinstriping is not on the part yet because the paint was barely dry when I took this picture.

Not getting much feedback but thought I would post some more pictures and I progress through the Playboy paint on the Hurricane to RR conversion.
Here is a picture of the tail after I painted the white and then the black to match the Playboy scheme:

This is a picture after I added the gold stripe next to the black:

Then I added the RR and Honda decals:

Here's the tail and the fender. The fender has the pinstiping now:

I like the way it's turning out. Still not sure if it will be "naked" or if I will add the sponsor decals. The Playboy kit I ordered from the UK came today and has all of the special decals...I think it will be pretty cool once I get it done.
