Hondas are known worldwide for their reliability and ease of maintenance but some of the other forums have been reporting high oil consumption and smoking exhaust with the new 2008 CBR 1000. What are you guys that have put some miles on your new '08Fireblade finding out?

and under his bikes owned he doesnt even list an 081000rr as one of them. this guy is a douche.

 

I haven't heard of this issue but like PG I'd be interested to know more than just is it using oil. Break-in? Stunts? Times to red line first 100 miles or so? Stuff like that matters.
