Why is he selling it with only 3700 miles and all that work? I would buy it maybe, but now you should be able to get some 05's pretty cheap. I got my 05 for 10,400 brand new back in November.

I Bought my o4 at a dealer for $8700 with no miles And I actually beat him down to give me a
chrome windshield and a Hjc helmet that was supposed to cost $150.
I would try to beat him down a little more. Check if the bike is OK
see if he dropped ...

What's the service history? Might be the right # of miles for a race bike...? I'd ask more Q's from the guy. How are the other 'consumables', i.e. chain, sprokets, tires, etc? Do a title search prior to dropping any $$$.

Cheers

Where I live bikes are expensive. i bought my 05 Repsol 6 weeks ago bog standard with no mods what so ever. Cost me US$13,600.00.
So if I could get a bike for US$8,000 I be laughing.
A brand new 06 1000RR here costs US$17,000.00 That will make you guys feel better about buying your bikes. Lucky bastard!!!

Ok jaxx1671, come on over. I live in Thailand, The land of smiles. First of all you need to strip your bike down and bring it in as parts if you want to sell it here. Otherwise you will be hit with crippiling tax. Customs officers here rip us off all the time.
