RE: winter ideas
I don't have the HID's on my bike yet, but in my car.....WHOA what a difference they made. I have the 12000k HID kit on my car. (12000k looks VERY bluish-purple, but the road lights up white (like a white LED like white). I believe the newer BMW's have these type of HID headlamps. Look for a BMW at night, that'll give you an idea of how sick those things are. (They're about 300 bucks total for the motorcycle kit for the high and low beams).
The powdercoated swingarm is what I want to eventually do too. I've seen it on a couple other RR's, and it looks great.
Good luck with it all.

Whew! The Mod-Express.com website has 15000K lamps. DAMN! I thought mine were the best!!! Now I have to get the 15k ones for my bike just to have the best. Damn my compulsive headlamp fetish!!!!! LOL!!!
But to answer your question, they seem like a pretty sound company, just make sure they have a return policy just in case they don't work as you like.
