Default Windscreen: ZG vs Puig

So which one is better quality. My preliminary research indicates puig is pretty good, but ZG is a little better. Correct?

Am also contemplating between double bubble and sport touring. If sport touring is taller and so much more comfy for the face, why is double-bubble apparently more popular?

Anyone with a red windscreen? like it? can you please post some pics if possible?

Finally, what is a good place to buy the screen?

Thanks for ur inputs!

I have a black Puig DB. I think it looks great. Not to functional as I opted for the completley black one which you cannot see through. It's so low I really can't get down that low anyway to see through it but that doesn't bother me.

Anyone have any experience with double bubble in comparison to the sport touring model?

I am also 5 11 and I have the ZG double bubble. Its better than stock, but no comparison to those found on sport touring bikes... the DB real excels when in a tuck, but when riding up right the wind hits you in the helmet instead of the chest. Longest ride I've down was 100 miles, and it was't bad, but not as much protection as the extend touring windshields.

I got a puig clear db. I love it but have only 1 complaint. When parked in direct sunlight it will melt the cluster. Opps! They tell you in the instructions about it but I thought it would have taken more than 2 hours. I keep a t-shirt in my "trunk" to cover it when I leave it outside.

I bought a Puig DB, all I could get, must say the fit is a bit shabby compared to the standard screen

I got the Puig DB.....I have an 06 Black 1000RR so the black on black looks nice, I turned up the instrument cluster lights a bit for night time but other than that, it looks great and am happy with the purchase.

The Puig does not fit the 06 model properly. There is a gap of between 2mm and 4mm at the bottom between the screen and the light and Puig consider it acceptable! I don't, was a waste of cash as it now collects dust in my garage.
