Ok, I have a 05 1000rr all stock except for flapper mod. A buddy of mine has an 05 zx10 with full exhaust and -1 front sprocket. I was just bored and thought i would see if anybody would like to shoot out some possible results. I know the zx is faster. I weigh 140 and the guy with the zx is some where around 210. We would probably be racing from like 60 or so in 2nd. All hiway runs. Am i going to get killed? Thanks in advance.

how do you keep the front wheel down launching at 6-8k i just roll on with a half tank of fuel and cant keep the wheel on the ground sounds scary to me. i have had mine for a year now and 2 days ago i decided to let the wings fly at 58 in first the wheel came up at 120 in 2nd the wheel came up at 135 in 3rd the wheel came i just cant think of launching at 6 -8 k and keeping it on the ground with out tie downs

I would imagine that with the mods and the already more powerful engine that the 10 would be a bit faster in a straight line, all things being equal....

 

hopeless question, liter bikes are pretty equal just depends on the situation. Who gets better traction, and is more planted. If both of you guys are professional racers then, I see the ZX having the advantage. thats about it. good luck

 

i seen on this forum the other day where a 1k rider took on a busa not at his own doing but the busa pressured it on and the 1k whopped butt so every thing we think does not always work out i thought the busa would win.

 

Thats cause busa's are sleds
