try riding a regular bicycle that you can wheelie and figure out how to balance on there... then when you get on the big bike you'll know what to feel for.

not invading your thread.. not going to tell you how to ride.. its your body, bike, and life.. .. but only riding 6months and doing wheelies all over town.. you might want to check out our buddy system thread.. that way you can give someone your log in info to notify us in case one of those wheelies ends in the back of a truck.

just a thought.. wear gear, be safe.

YOU SHOULD'NT WHEELIE

6 months of riding w/1krr. I hope this isnt your first bike. If it is, the last thing you need to be worried about is WHEELING.

Oh yeah, you shouldnt try to wheelie.

You learn the balance point on a 1K the same way you learn it on a quad. Bring it up till the front end gets light and you feel like the bike is going to almost fall back.
There you go.
Remember to cover the rear break.

The balance point on my 1000rr is a lot higher than it was on my f4i or my r6. It will scare the hell out of you at first, but once you get used to it, you should be fine. Good luck!
