can anyone help with with the most you can get out of 1st gear ??? i have the 07 1kk

 

hey rem... on my bike..aaaahhhhhhh 1st gear..i recall hitting ..on the 04' 1k RR like 80 something ..but redlining

on the new joint..dont know yet...havent really push too much...

 

 

2004 CBR1000RR Stock gearing at 11,650 RPM

1st:82
2nd:108
3rd: 133
4th: 152
5th: 167
6th: 180

 

I have definitely seen 80+ on the 05 with stock gearing

 

The 2006-07 went up a tooth in back. I don't know how much of a difference that made. Plus, you have to take into account the small 3-5% error on the speedometer. It does still seem a little small for first gear (IMO)

 

What's good Will ??? i was going to call you to ask you my question but i figure someone might want to know the same answer. but hey guys i took my bike out today and i got 89 out of first gear, this was my first time pushing it i really wanted to see what i can get out of this bike. my brother who has an 06 R1 said he pushing 100 in first gear i just think that is sick but i love my 07 1kk.

 

Around 98 - 99 (indicated) on the 08

 

92 on my 06 fireblade

 

i dont have a 1k i just came into this section to look to see how fast they actually went and 80+ in first gear is just sick!
