Default What is a repsol

I see some honda that say repsol for sale, what is it---a race bike with headlights or is it just a name

Its the baddest, highest horsepower, sexiest, panty dropping machine on the road.

Not really, its just a standard 1000RR with different painted plastics and wheels. They are a limited edition race replica.

repsol is a spanish oil company who backs a race team. Amazing thing is ExxonMobil makes all of Hondas oils yet they dont back any team

ok a 1000rr with a diffeent paint colors and wheels--are the price the same

they are priced an additional $500.00 over a standards msrp. It all depends on the demand of them what you will pay for one. Some dealers will gouge the prices since they are limited, others will just try to move em out as fast as they can. But in most cases, you'll pay an extra 500 over the standards at any given dealer.

when I bought mine, I got it out the door for what a standards msrp was, which I think was $10,500. But I happened to go a dealer that wanted it gone. The guy that ordered it backed out and lost his deposit.

i used to like the Respol edt bikes.. but i dunno anymore.. i see to many of them around.. and i am not a "racer" so dont wanna be a poser on a replica u know what i mean?

You can be a poser on any bike, not just a replica. The only regret I have with the Repsol is they stand out way too much. I use to have an all black 1000RR that blended much better.
