Default Tyres, tires....

Hey all, What is the best tires for our bike that have good wear properties without compromising handling? I hear from some that 2CTs are the way to go... what do you think?

So Far, The 2CT's are doing good with tire wear, but they don't compare with grip on the Corsa III, and Grip matter more to me right now than tire wear since I run the bike hard and fast in corners.

06 Black 1K RR

Mileage is in the 18000's

BridgestoneBattalax BT014 are great tires and the race street version, BT002 are even stickier. Had both. How hard do you ride? If you do ride hard in twisties and go to the track on occasion, get the BT002's. If its mostly street with fun on the twisties, get the BT014's.

Realistically, most brands for the bike will be find. For the most of us on the street, any tire will be fine, just some heat up differently.

Thanks all, I have about 6500 miles on the stock 014s that came with it, but now they're starting to slide in turns and feel unstable... is this an average mileage for wear and time? I bought it in 05/06. I run them to the edge on the street, we have no track now.
