Default Trick Taillight

Check out this UFO taillight -- dude has 'em for the 600RR, 1000RR, 954RR, 929RR and most of the F4's. Programmable and really trick.

UFO taillight

It also integrates the rear blinks so you can lose the stock crap. Only $150 -- what a deal. And no, I'm not selling it -- just thought it looked cool. Wish I had gotten this one instead of the clear alternative.

Those are awesome, I have to get one of those. I wonder if the running light is legal though.

They're considerably cheaper here:

Just a thought, it's your money.

The first link posted by Chainstretcher is actually a friend of mine who has his own business; www.motodiablo.com and he is a great guy and very eager to make friends and happy customers. We actually have worked together, and have been roomates..so he wont steer you wrong if you need something ( either will I )
So if you need something from him he is an upstanding guy ( which is good to hear from someone lurking on Ebay..some guys are just plain crooks!!)
so just thought I would give you the 411 on that listing...
Thanks!!
Tom

The one that Whippet is linking to is a CLEAR ALTERNATIVES brand...and they are cheaper but they are DIFFERENT!! The UFO light has a programmable tailight, the Clear Alterantives one is just a taillight and blinker..I have one of those one my CBR1000RR and the UFO version is more money because it does more...

Ed Zachary!! I have the Clear Alternative and it's a great light but if I'd seen this one first I'd have bought it instead. About the legality of the running light the stocker uses LED's also so I don't see any problem with it. The po-po haven't bugged me about yet.

i recently bought the UFO unit off ebay for my '03 954rr and its awesome...its a HUGE pain in the *** getting the stock tail light apart...its glued together and the clear plastic chips and cracks easily...luckly no serious problems...and the unit is very good quality...yes expensive but i have been riding many yrs in the north east and seen many bikes and never anything like this...the programs are awesome and so simple to change...wicked cool product...aside from splitting the tail light i highly recomend it...i know kids that will jiz in their pants riding behind me watching that thing...my only concern is them being distracted and wrecking from watchign my damn tail light

I guess that would be the deer in the tailights look.
