Default Torque Spec Frame Bolt

I don't have a service manual yet and would like to know the torque spec for these frame bolts...it's for the sliders. Thanks

Yes, the garage is getting crowded!
PM me if you need any other spec's. I have the service manuals for each of the toys.

I just ran across your other post about your frame sliders.
If you haven't installed them yet PLEASE DON'T CUT YOUR FAIRINGS!
Check out the No-Cut sliders from Shogun or Sato Racing.
They fit beautifully and you do not have to cut or modify the fairings in any way.
Here'sphotos of the Shogun's on my '07 Repsol.
Go here for the Shogun's: http://www.cyclemall.net/ Tige Daane
Go here for the Sato's: http://www.satoracing.com/ Mikiko Osumi
Tell either of them Greg from Indianapolis sent you.

Yeah, I have not cut the fairings in any way...as a matter of fact, I was having second thoughts of even using these sliders just because of that reason. If I did, the sliders would be right on the edge of the fairing and would look terrible if it was cut there.
Since the dealer threw these in, I'll probably return them and ask for the ones like you had posted. I'm guessing it's like a machined aliminum bar or something that offsets the slider outwards away from the mid fairing?

That's exactly how both the Shogun and Sato's are mounted; with off-set plates that mount off the upper rear engine mounts. Much cleaner setup.

Ok, good deal. I would hate to cut into those nice fairings. Now, I've heard that the "no cut" type don't hold up as well in the event of a crash, but those with the heavy offset plates look really tough. Ever have any experience with dropping/sliding one with the offset kind?
