How long before you have to replace your rear tire? I put 3500 miles and now I need to replace it is that normal

 

Why do you have to replace them? I have almost 5Gs and they look fine? Just curious.

 

There isn't a normal when it comes to tire wear. I average 1200 miles on my rear tires. Other people I know go through them a little faster than that. While some I don't know or ride with have said they get 5000 or more miles out of theirs. I don't do burnouts or stunts, but I do ride the curves fast and I get on the gas early.
