Default The tire of choice.

Just a curious poll on what tire people like on their 1000rr. Remember I am thinking commuting/weekend riding to even the track.

I've been very happy w/ the Pilot Powers...haven't had them on the track, but in the twisties above L.A. they feel really good and offer excellent mileage.

Used the racetec and super corsa your quite right that they are a great tyre but an all round tyre choice for me would still be the pilot power coz when we were in the south of france last year it pissed down for about an hour an you have never seen rain like it,and they dont do any drainage on the roads so your riding in standing water ,so my point is that racetec would not have coped down these twisty roads ....

Im trying slicks on my track bike for the first time this year see what all the fuss is about!!

Dunlop 209GP's mostly in the 758 compound...

Make sure to get the tires made in GB, not in Buffalo. Couple of lbs difference...

There is a reason that they have won every AMA championship in the last what, 8 years?
