Take your turn
I've always wondered this: Does anyone else notice a difference between turning/leaning to the left or to the right? I started riding street bikes in Jan "05, am right handed, and for me I can take left turns all day long but I always feel awkward in my right turns... How about you guys?
I'm the same way, and don't know why. My "chicken strips" on the left side rear are about 1/4" but on the right side of the rear it's about 1/2" or a little more.
I've readsomehere that we all do that and that race crews will check out competitors tires to see which way they lean most aggressively so that they can prepare where to pass them before the next racestarts. For me, I'm left handed and it feels awkwardto leanleft.
i remember many years ago during my initial MSF class the instructor said that 99% of all motorcycle riders make left turns easier than right ones. No one (according to him) has even been able to figure out why.

I take left turns a little Sharper. Every time i scrape a boot on the ground it's the left. Left side has no chicken strip but right has maybe 1/4 inch. I think it is a fear I have from my harley I used to own. The exhaust was on the right side and i used to scrape it hard on corners.
