Default Tag placement

I recently put the competion werks fender eliminator on my bike and it looks b u tiful. Makes the bike look super clean. Problem is is that i also recently got a ticket for the damn tag bein to far under the tail. Is this possible? I dont mean to whine but i just spent some good money on this and love how it looks and i dont really wanna have to get rid of it already.

Ps I live in florida if that helps anybody

as long as it's viewable from a certain distance (don't remember the exact distance) from the rear then it's legal. placement doesn't matter.

placement does matter cause i have gotten numerous warnings from the fhp and others about the angle of the plate. oh and the distance the tag has be able to be read at is 100 feet.

In Pennsylvania it has to be to the furthermost rear of the vehicle. Some cops will let it slide.

Man I know what you meen. You pay good money and expect the thing will be legal, and BAM some Cop has to be a hard ***. I had a comp wrks under tail and plate kit on my 04 Sv and when I got a warrning I got a hot Bodies under tail but liked the way the comp wks tags looked .Hot bodies did give me some L brcakets. I carried them in my tanbag ,and when I got pulled over ,said I was on the way home to install them. THEN HE gave me a WRITEN WARNING. CAN'T THEY JUST LEAVE US ALONE! I haven't desided what to do on my 1000rr yet I want a tag lite and I may add an aftermarket exaust so I don't want too rush too much. It gets too expensive.

I also got pull over for the same thing I actually had to get rid of mine.
I live in MA and cops don't really like that to much up hear.
I had to make a custom bracket hanging from my two brothers exhaust.
It looks OK but nothing like it used to.

Im just gonna keep the damn thing. Allready paid money for it and spent hours puttin it on and think it looks great. Ive had other cops follow me before and they never thought bout turnin their lights on. And i think it is visible from 100ft away...once i clean it off a lil more...lol. But seriously if they cant c that from 100ft away they def cant c my tag on my truck from 100ft away
