Default Speedo Help Please

I just bought a 04 1000rr about 2 weeks ago. The speedometer is way off. It says i'm doing 38mph when i'm really do 60mph. The bike has the stock size tires on it and has stock sprockets front and back I checked they're 16 / 41. I ordered a speedo healer and tried that also and I still no change in the speedometer. What else can I do or what is causing this? Please help

Thanks

Honda issued a recall on the'04sspeedo. Yours may not have been changed. Call the Honda customer line or a dealer and give them the VIN and they'll tell you if the recall has been completed.
