Default So a took a 1kRR around the block

One of the guys in the crew I ride with has an '08 1kRR and he let me take it around the block. Without pushing it or even breaking 60mph it felt completely effin different. I mean, I don't know if it's because of hte suspension or that fancy looking swingarm, but when I just tap into the throttle on my bike it feels like it wants to rip me off but the 1kRR felt smooth and seemed to almost encourage me to keep on pulling. It didn't feel like a motorcycle, it felt like I was piloting some kinda futuristic spaceship.

I have this thing about riding/driving other people's vehicles so I couldn't really push it in any respect (even walked it when i made a u-turn, just in case) but one turn I made at a moderate speed... omg, the thing just turned in.

I just wanna say to all you guys who ride the '08+ that I'm jealous as hell.

yup i love my 08 1krr i took my buddys 954 out plenty of times when he wanted to go rip corners on my 600 f4 (which i bought from him), very powerful bike, my new bike the 08 1krr is so smooth and graceful its rediculous and at a very good price, the only good thing about liveing where there is actual snow on the ground freezin winter is that bikes are dirt cheap after mid september because dealerships want to move them out for winter stuff, i bought mine off the showroom floor they had to lower it off the highrise stand had 0.9 miles on it from the mechanics ride, i paid $6999 for it.
