hence, the call your dealer
there was a recall of the 04 because of the speedo

Or take it back to the dealer.
They were supposed to set the new odometer to match the mileage of the old bike or give you some paperwork showing that the odometer is off by so many miles.
That is so you can't sell it as a low mileage bike when you know it has much higher mileage.
