RE: cbr 750
The new CBR 600RR is more powerful and lighter than the liter bikes of only 10 years ago. I think they have closed the gap alot between the 600's and 1000's.
With no reason other than my gut feeling, I do not think Honda will make a 750RR anytime soon (athough I would love to see it)

RE: cbr 750
did you say the 600's are more powerful than the 1000's??? they are night and day difference even between the 750's and the 600's.... try american modern insurance... its cheaper than progressive for me and i have a carless driving record on me... it was like 200 a year or so for liabiltiy and i have a brand new cbr1000..... you dont need full coverage if the bike is under 10,000$

He didn't mean that the new 600's are faster than the new 1000's, he was saying that the new 600's are probably just as powerful and a lot lighter than the 1000 from 10 years ago.

600's may make more HP but they just don't seem to have the same torque as a 900.
My 95 FZR had 130HP but gobs of torque down low to get you off the line.
600's have all that HP and torque way up high which is only useful if you keep the revs up.
No good for the street riding some of us do.
