Default should i trade up to 1000rr?

i currently ride a 2000 cbr929rr and im thinking of trading it for a cbr1000rr. what do you all think? has anyone out there done this swap before? is it worth the monthly payments (current bike paid for) or should i just go on enjoying my bike?

If you are looking at either the 2004 or 2005 1000rr, remember this; the last 5 years have dramatically changed all sportbikes regardless of manufacturer. My 2 cents, do it. You won't be disapointed. Its hard to imagine, don't get me wrong I love V-Twins, that the RC-51 dominated AMA Superbike in 2002. Now there are no twins, except Ducati, racing at any AMA level.

i totally agree. If you are asking you have obviously thought about it, so i say why not? monthly payments never hurt anyone ([:-]) anyway...no matter what you do you will be happy. it sounds like you have a nice bike, but you will always have the urge to get something newer.

I went from a 00' 929 to the 05 1K and they are like night and day man. I loved my 9 but I am really in love with the 1K.
