Default Seat Cowl or Not?

How many of you guys have a seat cowl and do you like it. Tried to find some pics of black 1kr to see what it looks like. Which one do you guys think looks better oem or aftermarket.

Here is a couple of pictures of on OEM cowl that I have installed on my red '07 600RR. Fit is good and the color match is pretty much right on. Hooks in and locks up just like the original seat piece, and even has the little rubber pads for the helmet lock hoops. Only bad part about it is the high price Honda charges.

I thought that I might want one for my '05 Repsol, but the deal was sealed when I saw a cowl in person on a red 1KRR at work. I like 'em.

They look good, but I bungee net so many things to the back that I'd scratch the hell out of one of those the first day. Besides, where you gonna put the chicas you're trying to take home?

bought the honda part when i bought the bike. the only time the seat was on the bike was the trailer ride home from the dealer. no seat, no pegs. looks way better without and only takes a few minutes to put it all back if the wife would want to hop on anyway.

The look seems to improve and others like it on my 1000RR but the 04-07 OEM seat cowl scratches the heck out of your tail section, but I still keep it on and dont care....good luck. and it seems they improved on the 07 600 seat cowl.

mihomie, same here no seat, no pegs. I bought the seat cowl from dealer it is a nice piece but the price gets you. I like the one for the 600, was wondering if it will fit the 1000rr. When I go to the dealer I'll check with them and see if they try to put one on and see if it fits, if it does there goes more money
