I heard of an oil that is suppose to make your bike run 5 to 10 degrees cooler. Has anyone heard of such thing and if so. What is the name of it, where can you get it.

No No No... my bike is running at normal temp. Although the biggest killer for horsepower is heat..so I am already going to add some different coolant that lowers temp but if there is an oil that adds to it too...hey why not. So I am wondering if these rumors are true.

Hanging around 180 Deg... 217/19ish Fan comes on ... 3 min stoplight induced!

 

honda has billions of dolars investing into there technology, if he bike is running at normal temp (180) then its preforming at its best, as for coolants that lower engine temp (engine ice) becarful they can do serious damage, and actually cause bike to loose power. as for the oil, switch to a synthetic it will run 5 or so degrees cooler but change it frequently. that 15,000 mile oil is made for a car with a lot less friction, change it every 2000miles.

 

Your bike is suppose to be right there. That's perfect. They don't overheat untill 245. When your temp gauge flashes at you that's when you problems.

Thanks 13brsxsrr. Seemed like is was all Ops normal, but I've only had the 1K since Nov and now it's start'n to warm up down here in the South. Just gonna have to wait and see if the Fan does the job when its breaching 100 degree this summer. I'm guessing it'll be OK!
