I am new to the forums first and for most so hello all. I need the front and back rim for my Repsol but I am not trying to spend the money dealerships are asking. Been to E bay and a few other sites and it is still hard to get a hold of some? I could also use a full set of plastics, ABS without a doubt. That is all I need to actually get her back going and it is time to ride. Last does anyone know where I could get a Yosh RS-5 Slip on for it, yea that was gone also. Thanks all.

What happened to your bike?

 

Well if you hit up my myspace I have pictures of all my accidents ( myspace.com/itroje ). I have been in few of them so.... (it went a littleto far backwards lets say).I actually needed a lot of parts and have replaced so much of it with chrome already. I need throttle cables, need piece for the HESD, all plastics, rims, and pipe (Yosh RS-5). I checked out that site also and it rocks, think I will buy them from them. Do any of you know about rims?

 

a friend of mine swapped out his 05 Repsol's rims within less than a 1000 miles since he bought Marchesini's
he's sold the front to this guy from Jersey but if you're interested in the rear let me know via PM

personally my CZ's are on their way so my rims will up for sale soon - only they're OEM black 04-05

about the plastics from Auctmart there's been mixed reviews since they're not OEM - they are not as durable and long-lasting, some pieces don't match or align properly and you will have to drill/widen some of the tabs to make them fit. Since the items are shipped from HK, it also takes a lot of time for shipping.

Also, another friend of mine has a Yoshimura RS-5 slip-on from his 05 1000rr (less than 500 miles)
his cousin took the bike off his hands and he bought a smaller R6 so he's looking to sell it & needs funds to re-gear his bike
personally i don't think Yosh is the pipe for the CBR but its upto you

lastly if you want to buy new, call 828-252-2280 & speak to Brad Plemmons from SuperBikeSupply for prices

 

Just buy some black ones and powder coat. Be cheapier and easier than trying to find Repsols
