I did stop at the bike shop and asked about gloves and they suggested, after i asked a few Q, that I go to the local bicycle shop for a thin pair of gel gloves. But Im not sure yet.

Also I failed to mention that Im into bodybuilding I have a large upper body. Could that be the problem?

Default RE: riding comfort

I'm 66 years old and have had many bikes over yhe years. I have about a 30mile straight ride to the barrtlet lake roada, and the first real bend in the road. By the time I get there and am ready to have some fun ,my hand is so numb that I can't feel the brake lever. I have to get off shake out my hands and wait . My left hand also did the same untill recently. I had Carpel tunnell surgery and havn't been numb since. Can't wait to do the right hand but it will have to wait till after Sturges. Shake them out ,keep a lose grip, and bend your ellbows ,put weight on but and legs not arms. The only problem with this is than you get numb but. sometimes you just have to get off and walk around.Good luck It's all good
