hi guys, i have a quick question, im interested in this 05 cbr repsol 1000rr but how do i tell if its authentic repsol not an 1000rr with repsol fairings and painted wheels..... thanks

 

*Coming from a non Repsol Owner* I think its on the vin sticker. It should say production number out of total units built. Example- Number 25 out of 200.

I have an 05 Repsol. The biggest give away is checking the frame. the frame is black for the 05 repsol. the frame for is silver for 07 repsols.

but anyway there were 1550 made so all you do is check the last 4 of your Vin number.
ex: mine is 0615, so I had the 615th one made.

If your last 4 is larger than 1550 then it most likely is not one.

there used to be a link on the honda website honda owners lounge or something like that you can register for free and enter the vin number if it comes back as a real repsol it will list everything about the bike including color and it will say orange black blue red white...

 

dont know where your from or how much you willing to spend but i am selling my clean 07 for 7200

 

2005 honda cbr1000rr repsol original.how to tell if you have a honda factory edition.well on mine ,how you can tell is off the motorbikes color code under the seat, and the colour code for the honda repsol 2005 is PB-123P-A which is PEARL SIREN BLUE.hope this helps,
