That seems like a little much for an '04 with 15k miles. for another $2k, you can buy a NEW 2008 cbr1000 with 0 miles on it.

...And her is a 2007 with less than a thousand mile on it for $1,100 more than what you would pay for that 2004. Click here

Also, keep in mind that the 16,000 mile service will cost a couple hundred if you get that done at a dealer.

I dont even think I could get that much for my 06. I would say around 6K for that bike.

That seems a bit high! I bought mine with 6k miles on it for 6k.

Onarom made a great point about the 16k service coming up. That could add another $300-$600 dollars depending on where you take it.

I would pass on it, unless the guy is willing to come down to a resonable price.

KBB right now is $7100 and thats a dealer retail price.
NADA right now has a low retail of $5625 and a average of $7400.

Did i read correctly......2005 cbr100rr for 9g's!!!!! WOW I am not gonna mess with anyone but know one thing when selling anything. You will NEVER recoupe all the money you put into it unless you find someone fresh of the boat and doesnt know much about nothing. You might get a little bit but if you put 3 g's into a bike that coast 6-7 thousands you will be lucky to get half that back. But I am notgonna hate on you "do what you do and I wish you the best of luck selling your bike"

way too high ...i repeat way too high he needs to go way way down.. besides the 16k maintenance work

less not forget that the 04 and 05' models had recalls to their stators and rectifiers.. i know this b/c i had an 04' cbr 1k that the rectifier went after about 17k miles...

so another few hundred to fix... do the math...

i sold my 04 cbr 1k for 5,600 with almost 19k in mint mint condition..

the guy that bought it didnt even turn the bike on before he gave me the cash but of course i encoursge him to do so..b/c im a straight up guy ...he luved it...
