sorry didn't mean to get off the topic. Just couldn't resist the chance to rag on blkout.

Liter bikes are great for the grin factor. The more you twist the throttle the bigger the grin. Have fun.

Try clutch wheelies way more better..
Just try dropping the clutch at 7k, if it doesnt come up good enough try 9 ot 10k...Then just practice everyday...
I do them all the time..Once for 2miles..

My SIDI boots were 360 miles away at home. I was visiting some friends in those pictures and just had my casual wear.

I went from an 05 f4i to an 08 1000RR, big difference but easy to manage if you've ridden the 600 for at least a year.

I have been on sportbikesmore than 20years. Rz 350,87 hurricane, 1996 yzf600, 1997 gsxr 750, 2008 gsxr750 and now on2008 CBR1000RR. I still have them all... Right now7 bikes in the garage...and more in storage. I just made the move to the literbike this year...and I love it. The old saying "there is no replacement for displacement" really rings true. After working my way up the horsepower scale, the more I get, the more I want. I also taught on the motorcycle course for nine years(Canada Safety Council). I gave up teaching a few years back so I could get more time on the bikes. We used to teach how to lighten the front end with a bounce or clutching to go over obstacles, Not neccessary with the literbike. The old gsxr was powerful, planted in the corners, and would wheelie on demand too just not as easily as the CBR.
