Default Polished wheels

I've owned many bikes and have always had good success stripping the black paint from the edges of the rims and polishing the aluminum. That was until now. When I stripped the paint from the 1000's rims, it was an ugly mess made up of pitted metal. I've never been a fan of chromed wheels on a sportbike because of the almost plastic-looking appearance, so I had them powder coated and absolutely love the results. The whole rim now has a shiny aluminum appearance that looks great and the best part was that it's only $75 per rim. These guys say they can also color match rims to your bike or do 2-tone jobs. Just thought I would pass this along. If interested, let me know and I'll post their name and number.

I was thinking of having my wheels powder coated just wondering how long you had to wait to get your wheels back?

The rims were ready the day after I dropped them off. I heard about this place from our local bike shop, otherwise powder coating would never have crossed my mind. They're in Columbus, GA. #706-563-0562.
