Default Please Help Drag racing clutch problem

So I tried to race my bike today! I had a problem with the clutch not wanting to slip on the take off I tried to slip but it just wants to grab. I'm new to the hyd clutch, but its like somethings wrong. I brought the bike from a good friend. He put a galfer steel braided clutch line on it. Do you think that could be the problem. I had a 954 and ran a 10.39 @ a 138mph. If i took this bike to the track it would be a high 15.00 with my bad hole shot. Please help I was thinking about putting the stock clutch line back on what do you think.

My clutch and line are stock and I am running 10.4 consistantly. I was told to try the steel braded clutch lines to get my times lower but maybe i will re think it. I did make the mistake of putting race fuel in my pretty stock bike. Big mistake. my times took a big nose dive.
