Paint my Windscreen?
I'm not being cheap, but it just seems to make more sense to paint my windscreen (from the inside) as opposed to pay close to $100 for a tinted one.
Has anyone else out there done so? If so, what kind os pait did you use etc?
Thanks for any help.

I have read about people doing it. I am considering it myself. I would prep the inside of the screen, meaning clean it with alcohol or something, then use
KYLON fusion on the inside, gloss black, couple of coats and you should have a nice shiney solid black screen.

Does not matter if it is Gloss or not, it will still be gloss on the outside.
This is how all the RC car guys do their bodies. I would suggest Satin finish
it will be easy to clean, and will not show imperfections like gloss does.

apply tint glue and then the tint
roll out the air bubbles
allow to dry
let it dry somenore
replace windscrene on bike

i was actually thinking about buying some limo tint like krptonite_cycle suggested but i have to check the state laws around here (FL)cause i think the same laws apply to bike windscreens as they do to car windows......

Are you freaking kidding me?? dont guess they would like a tinted helmet shield either..... are sunglasses legal in your state? LMAO.... [sm=rant.gif]
tinting the windscreen wont work, the lines are too messed up to do so. BUT...with painting it, clean it with rubbing alcohol, then spray paint it with Krylon Fusion its like 4 bucks or so. Sticks right to plastic without needing to prep it with roughing up the surface. Do 3 to 4 light coats and you'll be set
