Would you know if it previously had an alarm fitted , does the harness look messed with, Try this test on the power

Yes I did it turned out the previous owner put led's inside the cluster, so I removed them and it's fixed.

Finally the bike is back together taking it for a ride tonight and see how she is.

Ok now I need help getting rid of these gremlins, so I took the bike out and it rode great, the water temperature stayed between 199 and 230, granted it was 90 degrees outside. but I did noticed something when I switched the high beam the temperature gauge would jump 10 degrees when I turned off the high beam it would drop 10 degrees automatically. Im sure someone here is like HMMMMMM WTC.... lol can someone please help!!

Could be wiring ,again, try this flow chart , could be the Rec/Reg not smoothing out the voltage

Thank you, CaBaRet I finally cave in and took the bike to a shop up the street from me I work a full time job and I have my own business on the weekends so I decided to let someone else work on it for me. hopefully I can have the bike back soon.
